А meeting with the Regional Director of the UN Environment Programme’s (UNEP) Europe Office Arnold Kreilhuber

Astana, 14 June 2024 – Chairman of the EC IFAS Askhat Orazbay held a meeting with the Regional Director of the UN Environment Programme’s (UNEP) Europe Office Arnold Kreilhuber.
During the talk, A.Orazbay told about the advantages of cooperation with IFAS, emphasizing that the Fund is the only institutionalized organization in the region that represents the interests of all five Central Asian states.
A. Kreilhuber stressed that the Central Asian direction is one of the important priorities of UNEP and expressed interest in collaboration with the EC IFAS.
As a result of the meeting, it was agreed to identify projects for joint implementation in the short-term perspective and to sign a Memorandum between EC IFAS and the Regional Office of the UNEP.
