Meeting with representatives of the French Development Agency

On August 22, 2024, a meeting was held at the office of the Executive Committee of the IFAS with representatives of the French Development Agency (AFD).

The details of two projects aimed at improving water resource management and the ecological situation in the Aral Sea basin were discussed.  

Earlier, AFD had expressed its willingness to provide grant funding for these projects, which align with the goals and objectives of the Aral Sea Basin Program (ASBP-4).

The meeting covered technical aspects and expected outcomes of the projects, and the next steps and timelines for their implementation were agreed upon.
