On October 10, 2025, in Astana, the members of the Executive Board of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea (IFAS) — Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Bozumbayev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan S. Ziyozoda, and Adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Ganiev — accompanied by the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation of Kazakhstan N. Nurzhigitov and the Minister of Water Management of Uzbekistan Sh. Khamraev, visited the office of the Executive Committee of IFAS.
During the visit, the guests were acquainted with the activities of the main working body of IFAS and held discussions with the staff of the Executive Committee. They noted the high level of organization of the IFAS Executive Board meeting held on the same day and wished further success in the Fund’s efforts aimed at overcoming the environmental crisis and improving the socio-economic situation in the Aral Sea Basin.
