IFAS Thematic Pavilion Presented at an Exhibition Held within the Framework of the Water Conference in Dushanbe

On 26–27 May 2026, Executive Committee of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea presented a thematic pavilion at the International Exhibition “Water Resilience for Climate Action”, organized as part of the The Fourth High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action «Water for Sustainable Development», 2018–2028 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

As part of its outreach and visibility efforts to raise international awareness of the challenges facing the Aral Sea Basin and the measures being undertaken to address them, the pavilion showcased the activities of EC IFAS and its branches in the founding states, as well as the Scientific Information Center of the Interstate Commission for Water Coordination of Central Asia.

The exhibition highlighted key historical milestones of IFAS and Kazakhstan’s chairmanship of the Fund, including the ongoing implementation of the Fourth Aral Sea Basin Program (ASBP-4) and joint grant projects carried out in cooperation with the French Development Agency (AFD).

The IFAS exhibits and informational materials attracted considerable interest from all categories of conference participants, including official government delegations, international organizations and financial institutions, researchers, youth representatives, non-governmental organizations, and other stakeholders
