At the invitation of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), on 14 October 2026, Askhat Orazbay, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea (IFAS), participated in the high-level session entitled “Global Dialogue on Water Tenure: Innovative Water Governance for Food and Water Security.” The event was held as part of the 5th Rome Water Dialogue and the World Food Forum.
IFAS and FAO share a common commitment to addressing food resource issues and promoting agricultural development at the international and regional levels, as well as to developing key decisions and fostering cooperation on the rational use of water resources.
