Bali, Indonesia, 21 May 2024 - the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea Amb. Askhat Orazbay took part in the One Water Summit Second International Steering Committee co-chaired by the Advisor to the President - Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on International Environmental Cooperation Zulfiya Suleimenova and the Special Envoy of the President of the French Republic Barbara Pompili.
One Water Summit is an important initiative of the Presidents of Kazakhstan and France to be held in 2024.
IFAS as a regional organisation is actively involved in preparing the upcoming Summit during which it plans to promote implementation of projects and programs in Aral Sea Basin.
