Chairman of the Executive Committee of the IFAS (International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea) Askhat Orazbay paid a working visit to Bishkek.

On June 3, 2024, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the IFAS (International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea) Askhat Orazbay paid a working visit to Bishkek. During the visit, he met with Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Mr. Orazbay outlined the priorities, plans, and current issues of the Fund’s activities during Kazakhstan’s chairmanship for the period 2024–2026. He also urged the Kyrgyz side to promptly resume full participation in IFAS to strengthen regional partnership in the Aral Sea basin.
