Visit to Schools under the “Water and Education” Project in Kyzylorda and Aralsk

As part of the visit to the Kazakh part of the Aral Sea region, a delegation comprising Chairman of the Executive Committee of IFAS Askhat Orazbay, Ambassador of the French Republic to the Republic of Kazakhstan Sylvain Guiaugué, Head of the AFD Office in Kazakhstan Gulnoza Callens, and UNICEF Representative in Kazakhstan Dr. Rashed Mustafa Sarwar visited schools participating in the Water and Education project in the cities of Kyzylorda and Aralsk.

During the visit, the delegation familiarized itself with the results of the project, which is aimed at fostering a culture of responsible water use among children and enhancing the environmental awareness of students.

The project was initiated by the Executive Committee of IFAS and is being implemented by UNICEF with financial support from AFD.
