Introductory Visit of the Central Asia Water-Energy Program Team to the Executive Committee of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea: Exploring New Horizons of Collaboration
In pursuit of sustainable development in the Central Asia region and addressing global environmental challenges, the Central Asia Water-Energy Program (CAWEP) team embarked on an introductory visit to the Executive Committee of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea (IFAS).
The visit took place on March 29, 2024, gathering representatives from both sides to exchange experiences, information, and explore potential areas for collaboration.
One of the key objectives of the visit was to present projects implemented within the framework of CAWEP. IFAS also introduced its initiatives and projects aimed at saving and restoring the ecosystem of the Aral Sea region. The exchange of knowledge and experience opened up new prospects for cooperation and joint initiatives.
The introductory visit of the CAWEP team to the IFAS office marked an important step towards deepening collaboration in the field of sustainable development and environmental protection. Both sides expressed their intention to continue the dialogue and develop joint projects in the future.
