On June 11, 2024, as part of the 3rd High-Level Dushanbe International Conference on the International Decade for Action «Water for Sustainable Development» 2018-2028, a parallel session titled «Towards One Water Summit» was held at the initiative of the Kazakh and French sides, with the participation of representatives from national ministries and agencies for water resources management, as well as international organizations.
The head of the Information and Analytical Department of the Executive Committee of IFAS, Saule Shalmaganbetova, gave a presentation on the issues of joint use of water resources in the Aral Sea basin.
