Astana, June 25, 2024 – The Chairman of the Executive Committee of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea (EC IFAS), A. Orazbay, met with the OECD representative responsible for the Central Asia region, T. Kato.
T. Kato presented the OECD's capabilities to support the activities of the IFAS EC and areas for potential cooperation.
A. Orazbay, in turn, explained the advantages of collaboration with IFAS, which represents the interests of five Central Asian countries in the fields of water management, environment, and energy.
During the meeting, preliminary projects for joint implementation with the OECD were identified.
