On March 15, 2024, a briefing was held for the diplomatic corps on initiatives taken by the Head of State in the field of ecology and climate. Representatives of the state and international organizations expressed support for these initiatives and readiness for joint cooperation in their implementation.

Additionally, it was noted that since the beginning of the current year, Kazakhstan has assumed the chairmanship of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea (IFAS), and the Chairman of the Committee for the Salvation of the Aral Sea, Askhat Orazbay, presented Kazakhstan’s priorities in this area to the heads of states.
