In line with the assigned tasks and in implementation of the instructions of the Board of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea, the Executive Committee of the Fund organized the 15th meeting of the Working Group on improving the organizational structure and legal and regulatory framework of IFAS on 25–26 February 2026 in Astana.
The meeting was attended by delegations from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of IFAS-affiliated organizations.
During the session, participants discussed key aspects of enhancing the organizational structure of the Fund and developed a draft Action Plan of the Working Group on improving the organizational structure and legal framework of IFAS for 2026.
